This family company has grown immensely in the last thirty something years and currently holds more than 110 employees. KIESEL has been responsible for some of the largest construction and civil works in Suriname over this period. Just to name a few, KIESEL has been involved of the construction of hotels and resorts such as
- Hotel Royal Torarica, Eco Resort Hotel, Hotel Ramada Princess, Berg en Dal Eco Resort and Houttuyn Amazon Wellness Resort
- Governmental buildings such as National Archive Building, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, LVV (Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery), RGD (Regional Healthcare Service), Mac Donalds, Fernandes Bakery, Finabank, several Electrical Substations for EBS under contract of Strukton and the highest building of Suriname for Integra Marine.
In addition, KIESEL has also built private homes for many families. These residences were built with the clients’ preferences at heart, but more importantly to withstand the hands of time.
For the experience and knowledge KIESEL was prequalified to tender and granted the construction of the Temporary Facilities and the Substation on the New Refinery Staatsolie at Tout Lui Faut under supervision of the Safety and Quality Managers of Saipem and their standards.
